ST99 Expanding Fire Foam – B1 Fire-Rated
A high-performance, fire-resistant polyurethane foam designed for professional sealing, filling and insulation tasks. ST99 provides excellent expansion, strong adhesion and certified fire protection—making it ideal for use around doorsets, service penetrations and structural gaps where enhanced fire safety is required.

Key Features:

  • B1 fire rating: Meets stringent fire-resistance standards for use in FD30 and FD60 doorset installations.
  • Expanding formula: Fills gaps, joints and cavities quickly with high-volume foam expansion.
  • Strong adhesion: Bonds to brick, concrete, masonry, wood, plasterboard, metal and most construction substrates.
  • Thermal & acoustic insulation: Enhances energy efficiency and reduces sound transmission.
  • Cuttable and paintable: Once cured, can be trimmed, sanded and finished for a clean professional result.

Typical Uses:

  • Installing and sealing FD30 & FD60 fire doorsets
  • Sealing service penetrations (pipes, cables, conduits)
  • Filling gaps around windows, door frames and general construction voids
  • Improving fire barriers in walls, ceilings and partition systems
  • General building, repair and installation tasks requiring fire protection

Specifications:

  • Colour: Light yellow (cured foam)
  • Fire Rating: B1
  • Packaging: 750ml aerosol can
  • Application temperature: +5°C to +30°C
  • Cutting time: Approx. 60–90 minutes depending on conditions
  • Full cure: 12–24 hours depending on joint depth and humidity

Application Tip:

Ensure surfaces are clean, firm and free from dust or grease. Shake the can thoroughly before use. Apply foam into gaps or cavities, allowing room for expansion. Do not overfill. After curing, trim excess material with a knife and finish as required. Protect surfaces from prolonged UV exposure—coat or cover cured foam when used outdoors.
