Description:

ST88 is a fire rated intumescent acrylic sealant that reduces the transmission of sound through joints and is a one-part fire resistant gun grade joint and penetration sealant.
In fire conditions, the sealant chars and expands, preventing the spread of fire and smoke through the joint seal.
It has a 4-hour fire-rating. BS 476 20: EN 1366-3.
Acoustic Sealant for sound tested to. BS EN 140-3 1-hour testing to BS 476:22

Application:

All Surfaces must be clean and sound, free from dirt, grease and any other contamination.
