Bond It MGF Ultra Yield PU Foam 500ml – Gun Grade (Up to 55L Output)

Bond It MGF Ultra Yield PU Foam is a fast setting, multi-purpose gun-grade expanding polyurethane foam designed to bond, fill, seal and insulate most common construction materials. Its ultra-high yield delivers up to 55 litres from a compact 500ml can — ideal for trade users who want fewer can changes and less waste.

It features low curing pressure (<1.5 kPa) and a controlled post-expansion profile to help minimise deformation of building elements, while remaining non-shrinking once cured.

Key Features

  • Ultra high yield: up to 55 litres from a 500ml can.
  • Low curing pressure: <1.5 kPa to help reduce risk of deformation.
  • Non-shrinking: helps maintain seal integrity after cure.
  • High insulation: strong thermal and acoustic insulation performance.
  • Low emission: EMICODE® EC1 Plus and M1 (very low emission/odour).
  • Higher temperature use: suitable for application in warmer conditions (up to +40°C).
  • Reaction to fire: DIN 4102-1 Class B3.

Typical Uses

  • Filling and sealing gaps around window and door frames
  • Filling holes, voids and cavities
  • Sealing service penetrations
  • General fixing, sealing and insulation work on site

Suitable Substrates

  • Adheres to many common materials including wood, concrete, block, stone, plaster, metal, PVC and polystyrene.

Specifications

  • Type: One-component moisture-curing polyurethane foam (gun grade)
  • Size: 500ml
  • Yield: up to 55L
  • Low curing pressure: <1.5 kPa
  • Tensile strength: > 85 kPa
  • Elongation: 13%
  • Reaction to fire: DIN 4102-1 Class B3

Application Tips

Shake the can thoroughly. Lightly mist the substrate with clean water to support even curing. Apply in layers for deep gaps and avoid overfilling — foam expands after application. Fresh foam can be removed with foam cleaner; cured foam must be removed mechanically. Adequate training is required before industrial/professional use (per current regulations).

Limitations

Cured foam is UV sensitive and should be covered with an opaque sealant/filler/paint. As with most PU foams, it does not bond to polythene/PE, Teflon®, or siliconised/wax-like surfaces.
