Bond It Mega Stik PU Adhesive Foam 750ml – Gun Grade (Low Expansion)
Bond It Mega Stik is a fast curing, low expansion PU adhesive foam developed for the rapid installation of plasterboard, insulation boards, floorboards and roof decking. Supplied in a 750ml gun-grade aerosol, it delivers a clean, controlled bead with no mixing, no mess and no heavy bags to carry.
Key Features
- Fast cure: full cure approx. 1 hour; can be plastered in 1 hour.
- Low expansion: designed for controlled board fixing (post-expansion approx. 5%).
- High productivity: one can fixes approx. 5 standard plasterboards.
- Clean application: no mixing, no water, no dust and no heavy bags.
- Versatile: suitable for solid walls, metal and timber studding, battens and beams.
- Insulating: cured adhesive is a good heat insulator and can help dampen sound.
Typical Uses
- Rapid fixing of plasterboard to solid walls and stud systems
- Fixing insulation boards to suitable substrates
- Fixing floorboards and roof decking where specified
Coverage & Working Info
- Coverage: approx. 5–10 linear metres with a 25mm bead (substrate dependent)
- Surface dry: 10–12 minutes (typical)
- Full cure: approx. 1 hour (typical)

Application Tips (Trade)
- Lightly mist the substrate with clean water before application (foam cures with moisture).
- Apply beads to the back of the board, wait approx. 2 minutes, then press into place.
- For insulation boards, apply 3 beads approx. 25mm wide; for plasterboard apply beads approx. 400mm apart.
- Use mechanical fixings when working overhead.
- If the can is left on the gun, clean the gun with foam cleaner and close the adjustment to help keep foam usable for up to approx. 4 weeks.
Limitations
Cured foam is UV sensitive and should be covered after curing. Not recommended for use on polyethylene, or on surfaces contaminated with silicone, oil or grease. Fresh foam can be cleaned with foam cleaner; cured foam must be removed mechanically. As from 24 August 2023, adequate training is required before industrial or professional use.
