Bond It B1 Fire Resistant Expanding PU Foam 750ml – Gun Grade (Pink)

Bond It B1 Fire Resistant Expanding PU Foam is a high performance, one-component moisture-curing polyurethane foam in a gun-grade 750ml can for clean, controlled application. It offers excellent adhesion to most common construction materials, low curing pressure and a high thermal and acoustic insulation value.

Tested for fire resistance to EN 1366-4 and classified to EN 13501-2, and meets DIN 4102 Class B1 requirements.

Key Features

  • B1 fire rated: tested/classified to EN 1366-4 / EN 13501-2 and DIN 4102.
  • Gun grade control: more accurate output for professional installs.
  • Low curing pressure: helps reduce risk of deformation in frames/joints.
  • Excellent adhesion: bonds to most common construction substrates.
  • High insulation value: strong thermal and acoustic performance.
  • High expansion: fresh foam expands around 2–2.5x after application.

Typical Uses

  • Controlled backfilling around window & door frames/linings
  • Filling holes and voids
  • Insulating penetrations and sealing connection joints
  • Sealing thermal & acoustic insulation boards
  • Reducing the impact of thermal bridges

Specifications

  • Type: One-component moisture-curing polyurethane foam
  • Size: 750ml (Gun Grade)
  • Colour: Pink
  • Working temperature (can & surfaces): +5°C to +30°C
  • Cured temperature resistance: -40°C to +100°C (long-term)
  • UV resistance: Not UV resistant – cover after curing
  • Shelf life: Minimum 18 months (unopened, stored correctly)

Application Tips

Lightly moisten substrates before application to support even curing. Do not overfill joints—foam expands after application. Remove fresh spills within tack-free time using suitable foam cleaner; cured foam must be removed mechanically. Once started, use the can within four weeks. Note: adequate training is required for industrial/professional use (per current regulations).

Limitations

Cured foam is UV sensitive and must be covered with an opaque sealant/filler/paint. Not suitable for PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, soft plastics, neoprene, bituminous substrates, or Teflon/siliconised/wax-like surfaces. Do not use where continuous water immersion is possible. This foam has been tested for certain joints/penetration seals; it is not tested for use around designated fire doors.
